How much does Microblading cost?

$550 +HST (new client – two sessions included)

$600 +HST (microblading + machine shading = combination brows – two sessions included)

$250 +HST (yearly colour boost – single session)

$300 +HST (yearly colour boost combination brows – single session)

$350 – $450 +HST (new client /brow correction with previous microblading elsewhere – single session)

How long does the service take?

The initial session (new client microblading or combination brows) is 3hrs, the second touch-up appointment is 2hrs.
Yearly maintenance microblading or combination brows (colour boost) sessions are 2hrs.

Corrections (previous microblading elsewhere) are 2-3hrs.

Is Microblading painful?

We do our best to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Most clients are surprised by how little discomfort is involved. Clients are pre-numbed before the service starts and then are numbed again once the skin is broken.

What is the healing process like?

It’s important NOT to get the brows wet during the first 24 hours (including sweat, steam, makeup or skincare). The day of the treatment: Absorb Gently blot the area with clean slightly damp cotton round to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 30 minutes for the first 4-6 hours or until no fluid is present. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph.

Days 2-10: Wash twice daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. Gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with water and a mild soap (i.e Cetaphil) With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows. Rub the area in a circular motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants, face cloths/wipes or a Clarisonic.

Days 3-10: Moisturize Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo. Do not scrub, rub or pick at the epithelial crust that forms.  Allow it to flake off by itself.  If it is removed before it is ready the pigment underneath will be pulled out.

Why do I need two sessions?

Two sessions is required to build enough pigment; while not overcrowding strokes. Different skin types have a varying degree of retention. Two sessions will also increase the longevity of the results.

Is there any risk of infection?

This is a very minimal risk if proper aftercare is attended to. Sweat, makeup or NOT gently washing the brows twice daily on days 2 through 10 can result in a bacterial infection (which would require the attention of a medical professional). Procedures are executed with primarily disposable implements; with great care of infection control standards meeting Canadian Red Cross BBP protocols.

What should I do to prepare?

DO NOT use any glycols, growth serums (i.e Latisse), anti-aging (retinol, vitamin A, vitamin C), anti-acne products directly over the brow area (two finger widths all the way around) for one month prior (or post treatment) to your appointment. This ensures skin quality and proper healing!
The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated.  Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.

  • Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before procedure
  • Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face
  • Do not have any type of facial/peel 3 weeks prior to treatment
  • No Vitamin A/Retinol/dermatologic grade exfoliants one month prior (brow area)
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure
  • Do not have botox less than 2 weeks prior
  • Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit.

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 – 48 hours before your tattoo
  • Do not consume coffee (caffeine) within 6 hours of your procedure
  • Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief 24 hours prior (this thins the blood)

*NOTE* facial skin with ACTIVE psoriasis, eczema, sunburn or any other reason for excessive shedding will be RESCHEDULED as the procedure will not heal evenly.

How should I take care of my brows?

Initially the colour will appear more vibrant or darker in comparison to the end result. Usually within 7-10 days the colour will mute by 30-40%, and look more natural, as the surface skin has now healed overtop of the microblading.

One month post completed service you should wash, gently exfoliate, moisturize and sunscreen the brows as you would the rest of your face. If the brow area becomes too dry the build up of dead skin cells will give the appearance of a premature fading brow.

Sugaring, Threading or Tweezing are the approved grooming methods for best skin health and microblading longevity.

How often should I come back for a touch-up/colour boost?

The pigment is semi-permanent and will fade over time (skin type) and will likely need to be touched-up within 8-18 months after your second session for a first time clients.

Yearly colour boosts are ideally done when the brows have faded to 50% of the original results. That time differs depending on skin type, lifestyle and care.

How much does a Lash Lift + Tint cost?

$85 +HST (75 mins)

Is a lash lift painful?

No, there should be no discomfort during a Lash Lift service. Most clients find it very relaxing … #lashnap

How long do the results last?

Clients can expect their lash lift to last anywhere from 6-12 weeks*. On average, most clients rebook every 8 weeks.

*We recommend using a lash conditioner/growth serum to prolong the length of the lift and grow/strengthen natural lashes. beauty by PREEN is an official retailer of Eyenvy Last Conditioner http://www.eyenvy.ca/

Can I wear mascara with a lash lift?

Yes, you can wear mascara the following day after a lash lift service. A tint is always included in the service but most clients like the extra volume/length they can get from mascara.

Who is a good candidate for a lash lift?

Anyone with natural lashes! A lash lift is considerable less maintenance than lash extensions but still features the eyes and lashes, creating an eye opening affect. Clients love that their lashes look more noticeable and that the curl lashes for up to 8 -12 weeks! Adding mascara creates more drama although some clients find that their lifted natural lashes are great with just the curl.

How do I maintain my lash lift?

Conditioning the eyelashes is always recommended. Whether by using castor oil, coconut oil or best yet a lash growth serum, making sure the lashes are adequately hydrated will keep the lash lift looking great for longer! beauty by PREEN is an official retailer of Eyenvy Last Conditioner http://www.eyenvy.ca/

What is the cost of lash extensions?

$120 Classic Set (2 hrs)

$180 Volume Set (3 hrs)

35min: $35 (mini fill, booked within 1.5 weeks)

45min: $45

1hr:  $50

1hr 15min: $60

1hr 30min: $65

*volume sets are min. 1 hr appointments depending on the style and retention.

What type of extensions do you offer?

Classic Lashes: one single extensions attached to one single natural lashes. A more natural look, the least maintenance offering curl, some length and volume.

Volume Lashes: several tiny extensions (2x-5x) hand built into a fan and carefully adhered to a natural lash. A bolder look for more fullness and a ‘eyeliner’ affect at the lash line. Volume lashes require more at home maintenance and take longer to apply.

How do I maintain my lash extensions?

Following each fill, the lashes must remain free from water, sweat and steam for 24 hrs.

Clients should make sure to avoid all contact with oils around the eye/eyelid area as oils break down the lash adhesive causing the extensions to pop off.

Washing the extensions with a lash cleanser daily is recommended, especially volume lash clients, to rid the lash line of any sweat, oil and/or makeup build up. This keeps the adhesive bond strong and will result in longer retention.

Can I wear makeup with extensions on?

Yes, although clients should avoid the use of any waterproof or water-resistant products. These products leave residue on the extensions resulting in poor retention. After wearing eye makeup lashes should always be deep cleansed to ensure the lash line is clean.

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when they are properly applied! Extensions are meticulously applied as a one-to-one bond to the natural lash. Improper isolation can lead to two or more natural lashes being bonded to one extension. This disrupts the natural growth cycle, stressing the natural lashes and often causing damage.

To ensure lash health, lash extensions should not be more than 1-3mm longer than the natural lash. An extension that is too long or heavy will cause the natural lash to shed prematurely, damaging the hair follicle. A well trained lash technician will be able to recommend an appropriate length/diameter extension based in the strength of the client’s natural lashes. Lash extensions should never be a one-size-fits-all application.

Why do I need to come back for fills?

Like all hair, there are three phases to the eyelash growth cycle. Each lash is in a different phase at all times, therefore, some will be lost within a couple days, and others can last much longer as part of the natural cycle. In some cases, eyelash extensions can last up to 4 weeks, however, it is most common to need a touch-up after 2-3 weeks. Ideally, clients should return for a fill with a minimum of 40% of their lash extensions remaining.

How much does a brow shaping cost?

Brow Shaping: $20 (30 mins)

What is the difference between sugaring and waxing?

Sugar paste is made of three natural ingredients: sugar, water and lemon. It is completely safe for the skin while wax may contain harsh resins/chemicals. Sugaring is applied at just above room temperature and naturally only adheres to hair and expired skin, while hot wax may burn the skin and lift live skin cells, which is both painful and unsightly. The sugar paste method is very effective and removes hair from the root completely, minimizing the chance of broken/ingrown hairs.

**Brow shaping is done with a strip sugar formula that protects the skin but allows for ultimate precision.

I’ve never had my brows tinted before, what can I expect?

Brow enhancing tints can range anywhere from subtle to dramatic. With the choice of five interminable shades, clients can expect a naturally looking colour with undertones to suit their skin and hair colours. The tint remains on the brows hair and skin anywhere from 4-10mins. The tint deposits colour onto brow hairs only, although there may be some skin staining which can be expected to fade completely in 24-48 hours. Clients can expect their tint to last anywhere from 3-5 weeks.

How often should I come back to maintain my brows?

Most clients book regular brow appointments every 3-4 weeks, depending on their hair growth cycle.

How much does Brow Henna cost?

Henna Brows $50 (45mins)
Henna Brows + Brow Shaping $60 (60mins)
*each Henna Brow service includes a full consultation with basic brow mapping according to the cli-ents face shape and desired end result.

What is Brow Henna?

Vegan and cruelty free formula contains hydrolyzed proteins, vitamin complex and anti-oxidants. El-leebana Brow Henna helps to strengthen and restore hair growth and improves the natural condition of the eyebrow hair. This makes it perfect for people who have sparse, over plucked brows or are still recovering from a nightmare waxing experience.

How does it work?

Elleebana Brow Henna works both on the hair and skin; it is incredibly unique in comparison to tinting. Tinting uses an oxidant to open the cuticle of the hair and allows colour to penetrate the brow hairs cortex through the oxidation process. Henna on the other hand, acts like a blanket over the hair and provides a coating to the hair shaft, coating the top layers of the hair cuticle only. As the brow cuticle has a scale like finish this coating smooths out the finish, almost like buffing out the hair imperfections to give the appearance of a thicker, softer and smoother hair and eyebrow.

How long does it last?

Lasting up to 7- 14 days on the skin depending on skin type and 4 weeks on the hair, Brow Henna is a gentle formulation containing no ammonia, lead or peroxide which helps to minimize the body’s natu-ral absorption of nasties. It is also a great add onto our Lash Lift treatment.

How much does Microneeding treatment cost?

$180 per session (45mins)

** includes a full-size take home serum to support results over the following 4-8 weeks.

What is microneedling?

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as Medical Skin Needling or Microneedling, is a minimally-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as scars on the face and body. The treatment uses tiny needles or micro-needles moved over the skin to create tiny, evenly-spaced puncture wounds on the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural collagen production by generating a wound healing response. By damaging the skin, you encourage the body to produce new collagen and elastin, which helps it thicken and ‘plump up’ the face.

Am I a candidate for Collagen Induction Therapy?

There are no major contraindications for Collagen Induction Therapy. As with all cosmetic treatments, the ideal candidate should have realistic expectations and be in generally good health. The treatment is suitable for all skin types, unlike some laser or chemical peels procedures. If you have any of the following concerns, you may be a suitable candidate for Collagen Induction Therapy:

  • Premature ageing
  • Skin Laxity
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Scarring from acne, chicken pox, injuries or surgery

What are the risks and complications with Microneedling (CIT)?

Risks and complications associated with this treatment are minimal but can include:

  • Scab formation
  • Flaking or dryness of the skin
  • The appearance of white spots (milia)
  • The appearance of dark patches as the skin purges (hyper-pigmentation)
  • An outbreak of cold sores in previous suffers

Is Microneedling painful?

Microneedling isn’t painless, but the discomfort is short lived, much like body hair removal or a mild sunburn. We provide a healing mask series directly after treatment and take-home toner to further support skin healing.

What should I do after a Microneedling Treatment?

After Collagen Induction Therapy Treatment, your skin will be a bit red or pink. You may also get some bleeding and bruising (rare), however this should be minimal and will depend on the length of the needle used during your treatment. The downtime with this treatment is very quick and you should have recovered between 24-72 hours.

**no makeup, direct sun exposure or sweating for 12 hours post treatment

How long until I see the results?

Because the results of this treatment rely on kick-starting your body’s own collagen production, it can take between four to eight weeks before you start to fully see the benefits. A series of between two and five treatments is usually recommended to achieve maximum results.

How much does Fibroblast cost?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is certainly more affordable than cosmetic surgery and the prices of treat-ment depends on the area treated. When comparing a treatment to the cost of surgery.

What is Fibroblast?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is low risk, minimal downtime and more affordable then surgery. Fibroblast Skin Tightening is known for it’s success with non-surgical eye lift, skin tag removal, tummy tightening, stretch marks and so much more.

The term “Soft Surgery” is used to describe the treatment because it delivers results similar to surgery, with no scalpel, stitches or bandages and minimal downtime. A minimally invasive procedure with much lower risk and at a more affordable price then actual surgery.

How does Fibroblast skin tightening work?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening method has many advantages over cosmetic surgery, which makes it an in-creasingly popular treatment. There is no cutting of the skin, which means that there are no stitches required, and clients can return to work much sooner.

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a relatively new innovation in the beauty industry in North America but has been used for a number of years in Europe. The extremely accurate device works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge. An electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissue retraction and tightening gives results that are com-parable to invasive surgery.

What is it used to treat?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is able to treat a number of imperfections without any actual cutting of the skin. It can be used for:

  • Eyelid Tightening, including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.
  • Skin imperfections, including skin tags and sunspots.
  • Improvement in the appearance of acne scars.
  • Diminishing Stretch marks.
  • Tightening loose stomach skin after pregnancy.
  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
  • Plasma Facelift and Plasma Necklift.

How long does it last?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is more than a simple tightening treatment, skin is actually removed, so the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery. Like all surgical and cosmetic proce-dures, the effects of plasma treatment are not entirely permanent as it does not stop any further age-ing. But, the positive results should last you years depending on the area treated. The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment, but the best results will be seen after 4 weeks. For some, an additional treatment may be required after 6 weeks for maximum re-sults. Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure. Those planning on treatment should also be aware that their race and genetics can also have an effect of the length of beneficial effects.

How many treatments are required?

The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition being treated, skin’s laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Most clients see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to get better results, although it is uncommon to require more than two treatments.

What can I expect? What are the side effects/risks?

Fibroblast is a safe treatment due to its non-invasive nature. Still the majority of clients are likely to experience some minor side effects in the 7-10 days following treatment.

There will be some tiny brown marks that have the appearance of minor scabbing, which are carbon crusts, but in 7-10 days these will flake away, revealing new pink skin beneath. Some swelling will be seen (especially in cases of eye treatment), but it is likely to only last 3-5 days at most. Swelling in the eye area is to be expected for a few days following an upper eyelid treatment. To avoid any more seri-ous side effects such as hyperpigmentation, follow the aftercare recommendations given to you by your technician.

Who is not a good candidate for Fibroblast?

As with the majority of cosmetic procedures, Fibroblast Skin Tightening should not be used on women who are pregnant or breast feeding. Although some darker skin types are suitable for the soft surgery procedure, it is not advised for those with very dark skin. This is because there is a higher risk of hy-perpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) following treatment.

What happens on the day of the treatment?

On the treatment day, it is recommended that no make-up is worn on the treatment area. We suggest taking an anti-histamine 60 minutes prior to your appointment to help with swelling and continue to take anti-histamines for 2-3 days following your appointment.

A numbing agent is applied and left to take effect for up to 45 minutes. When the treatment area is sufficiently numb, the session begins with multiple connections of the plasma tip, spaced closely to-gether. You may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly irri-tating. Treatment time is usually between 10-40 minutes, depending on the size of the area.

Immediately after treatment the area will be red and mildly swollen with small crustations and discol-oration. You may experience a sensation similar to a sun burn which will likely last a few hours. Swell-ing may intensify over the following few hours and more so when eyes are treated and may last 2-3 days. The crustations/discoloration should resolve within 5 -12 days depending on the individual and area treated. Results are seen instantly after the treatment, although this gradually improves over the course of the following 8 weeks. Essentially there is downtime, but it is considerably less then with surgery.

Following treatment you will be given thorough aftercare instructions to ensure that you see the best results. . In the week following treatment (or until the treatment area has fully healed) an exfoliating wash or cleanser should not be used. Instead opt for a pH balanced soap, and avoid rubbing the area.

The majority of people are safe to drive following their Plasma Skin Tightening procedure as swelling does not set in until later that day.

What are the contraindications for Fibroblast?

  • Clients should be in good health at the time of the appointment, with no preexisting health conditions. If the client displays signs of cold or flu the treatment should be rescheduled.
  • Clients skin should not be inflamed in the area we are treating prior to procedure.
  • Clients prone to keloid scars are not ideal candidates.

  • Clients who have a history of Hyperpigmentation are not ideal candidates.
  • Clients must not display any tanning at the time of the treatment.

If you have experienced Herpes Simplex Virus (Cold sores/Fever blisters) in the past you must see your Medical Doctor and obtain a prescription for Valtrex and begin taking it 3 days before treatment and for 4 days following treatment. (This applies for treatments surrounding the lip area only)
  • Not for clients with pace makers.
  • Not for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Clients with Eyelash extensions receiving upper or lower eyelid treatment must have lashes removed prior to treatment and reapplied after 8 weeks.
  • This treatment is only recommended on light-medium skin tones . Anyone with a darker complexions is at risk for Hyperpigmentation.

Chin: $10 (15 mins)

Cheeks: $15 (15 mins)

Full Face: $30 (30 mins)

Full Face + Brows: $45 (45 mins)

Is sugaring painful?

Sugaring isn’t painless, although some areas of the face are more sensitive than others. Over time the hair follicle will weaken making the service more comfortable.

Will my skin break out after sugaring?

Some clients do have a histamine response (small white blood cell clusters) following a sugaring service. This happens because the hairs on the face, especially cheeks and upper lip, are so close to the surface of the skin. These small white bumps are simply a healing reaction in the skin and will clear up 24-48 hours after they become noticeable. Clients are advised to keep their skin free of makeup, sweat and excessive moisture for 8 hours following the services to help minimize the chances of this response.

How is sugaring different than waxing?

Sugar paste is made of three natural ingredients: sugar, water and lemon. It is completely safe for the skin while wax may contain harsh resins/chemicals. Sugaring is applied at just above room temperature and naturally only adheres to hair and expired skin, while hot wax may burn the skin and lift live skin cells, which is both painful and unsightly. Will sugaring keep my hair from growing back?

With proper technique, sugar removes the hair from the root, collapsing and weakening the hair follicle. This slows down the growth cycle and can prevent hairs from growing back over time.
