Sugar paste is made of three natural ingredients: sugar, water and lemon. It is completely safe for the skin while wax may contain harsh resins/chemicals. Sugaring is applied at just above room temperature and naturally only adheres to hair and expired skin, while hot wax may burn the skin and lift live skin cells, which is both painful and unsightly. The sugar paste method is very effective and removes hair from the root completely, minimizing the chance of broken/ingrown hairs.
**Brow shaping is done with a strip sugar formula that protects the skin but allows for ultimate precision.
The tint deposits colour onto brow hairs only, although there may be some skin staining which can be expected to fade completely in 24-48 hours. Clients can expect their tint to last anywhere from 3-5 weeks.
Brow enhancing tints can range anywhere from subtle to dramatic. With the choice of five interminable shades, clients can expect a naturally looking colour with undertones to suit their skin and hair colours. The tint remains on the brows hair and skin anywhere from 4-10mins and is customized for each client’s desired look.
Most clients book regular brow appointments every 4-5 weeks, depending on their hair growth cycle.
Vegan and cruelty free, the Elleebana Brow Henna formula contains hydrolyzed proteins, vitamin complex and antioxidants which helps to strengthen and restore hair growth and improve the natural condition of the eyebrow hair. This makes it perfect for people who have sparse, over-plucked brows or are looking for an alternative to microblading.
Elleebana Brow Henna works both on the hair and skin; it is incredibly unique in comparison to tinting. Tinting uses an oxidant to open the cuticle of the hair and allows colour to penetrate the brow hair’s cortex through the oxidation process. Alternatively, henna acts like a blanket over the hair and provides a coating to the hair shaft, coating the top layers of the hair cuticle only. As the brow cuticle has a scale-like finish this coating smooths out the finish, this coating smooths out the finish, almost like buffing out the hair imperfections to give the appearance of a thicker, softer, and smoother hair and eyebrow.

Henna brows need to stay dry for 24 hours following the service. To keep the henna stain on the skin as long as possible, clients should avoid the use of oil based products, excessive sweating/water and rubbing or scrubbing the brows.
Because henna is a chemical free product, with no damage to the skin or natural hairs, the treatment window in between services can be as often as three weeks, depending on the skin type and desired results. Most clients book henna with their regular brow shape appointments, every 4-5 weeks, or for special occasions/vacations.
